Barcode scanning and Take out
Collect a batch of sales or materials, review every line, and save the stock changes together.

Prepare and scan your products
Save the barcode on the product first. You can type a code or use a compatible USB or Bluetooth scanner that enters text. The camera scanner is available where the browser supports it and camera access is permitted.
If a code is not recognized, check the stored barcode and any leading zeros. Typing the code provides a useful fallback when camera scanning is unavailable.
Build a Take out basket
- Open Take out and choose the default reason and location.
- Scan or select products to add them to the basket.
- Review each quantity, location, and any sale price. Override a line when it differs from the batch defaults.
- Add a note to identify the sale, delivery, or job.
- Choose Review & take out and confirm the reviewed batch.
Check available stock at the selected location, rather than relying only on the total held across all places.
Check the saved batch
The batch records the stock removals together. Review the resulting activity and use the offered undo action if you committed the wrong batch.
Use a sale reason for stock actually sold. Materials used on a job and write-offs should retain their own reasons so reports can distinguish revenue-bearing sales from other stock leaving the business.
